1. These terms

These terms apply between you and Burak Özaslan, Maltepe, İstanbul, Türkiye (“we”, “us”), for the Cuatr app for iPhone and Apple Watch (App Store name “Padel Score & Americano: Cuatr”, together “Cuatr”). By using Cuatr you agree to them. Our privacy policy explains how data is handled.

2. What Cuatr is

Cuatr runs a padel group: members and invites, matches with four slots and a waitlist, the court fee split, live scoring on iPhone and Apple Watch, Americano and Mexicano nights, a Cuatr level and stats, and share cards. Your data is stored on your devices and in iCloud; Cuatr has no servers of its own.

Cuatr doesn't book courts, doesn't take or send payments, has no chat, and isn't affiliated with any club, federation or league.

3. Who can use Cuatr

You must be at least 13 years old. If you're under the age of majority where you live, use Cuatr with the permission of a parent or guardian, who also agrees to these terms; purchases follow Apple's rules for your Apple Account. Groups and syncing need an Apple Account signed in to iCloud.

4. Groups and what you add

• You're responsible for what you add to Cuatr: your nickname and photo, guest names, match and club details, scores and ticks. Use a photo and names you have the right to use, and add a guest's name only if they're fine with it.
• Your profile details, your level and anything you do in a group are visible to that group's members (see the privacy policy). Only add a payment handle if you're happy for your groups to have it.
• A group belongs to its owner. The owner decides who's invited, can turn “Link & QR” invites on or off, can make members admins, can remove people through Apple's sharing sheet, and can delete the group, which deletes it for everyone. Matches and nights belong to their organiser, and the score to whoever holds the pen.
• If you turn on “Link & QR”, anyone who has the link can join the group. Share it with care.
• Data lives in iCloud under the group owner's and members' Apple Accounts. We can't see, restore or recover it.

5. Court fees and payments

Money never moves through Cuatr. Cuatr calculates each person's share of the court fee and shows who has ticked “paid”. The pay button only opens the organiser's payment link (PayPal, Revolut, Satispay) or copies their details (IBAN, Bizum, MB WAY). Any payment is made outside Cuatr, between you and the organiser, through your bank or that service, under its terms.

We aren't a party to those payments. Check the details before you pay. Settling up, refunds between players and disagreements about who paid are between the people involved; a paid tick isn't proof of payment.

6. Scores, levels and stats

• Scores are what the scorer taps. Cuatr applies the rules you choose (advantage or golden point, tie-breaks, super tie-break), but players settle disputes on court.
• The Cuatr level (1.0 to 7.0) is Cuatr's own estimate, calculated from your answers to the level questions and your scored match results. It's provisional for your first 10 matches. It isn't an official rating, isn't a ranking or a judgement of anyone, and doesn't correspond to the levels of any club, federation or other app. We don't guarantee its accuracy.
• Stats such as form, best partner and head-to-head are based on matches recorded in Cuatr.
• Don't use scores, levels or stats for betting or gambling.

7. Apple Watch, workouts and safety

If you allow it, a match scored on Apple Watch runs as a workout and is saved to Apple Health. Heart rate and energy values come from your Apple Watch and are estimates. Cuatr isn't a medical device and gives no medical or fitness advice. Padel is a physical sport: play within your limits, warm up, and look after yourself and the people on court. Don't let scoring distract you from the ball.

8. Cuatr Pro and Night Pass

Groups, matches, the split, live score and Apple Watch scoring, Americano nights up to 8 players, your level and basic stats are free. Players never need to pay to join a group, a match or a night.

Cuatr Pro (auto-renewing subscription)

• Cuatr Pro adds Mexicano and team Americano, nights with 9 to 24 players, your level history chart, partner chemistry and deep stats, share-card themes without the watermark, and Live Activity customisation. It's personal to your Apple Account and isn't available through Family Sharing.
• Plans: monthly, €3.99 a month; or yearly, €24.99 a year, which starts with a 3-day free trial for eligible new subscribers. Prices are in euros; the App Store shows the price and currency for your country, including any taxes, before you buy, and that price applies.
• Billing: payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase, or, with the free trial, when the trial ends unless you cancel before then.
• Automatic renewal: the subscription renews automatically for the same period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends.
• Cancelling: manage or cancel in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone, or in your App Store account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Pro stays active until the end of the period you've paid for. If you cancel during the free trial, you aren't charged. Deleting the app or your Cuatr data doesn't cancel a subscription.
• Price changes are handled by Apple, which tells you in advance and, where required, asks for your consent.

Night Pass (one-time purchase)

• A Night Pass costs €3.99 (or the local price shown in the App Store). It's a consumable purchase that unlocks Pro features for one Americano or Mexicano night you organise. It's used up when you apply it to a night, and doesn't renew.

For both

• All purchases are sold and billed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details.
• Restore purchases: on the Cuatr Pro screen (Me → Cuatr Pro → Restore purchases).
• Refunds are handled by Apple under its rules, at reportaproblem.apple.com. This doesn't affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
• If we ever remove a paid feature you're paying for, we'll tell you in advance in the app.

9. Fair use

Please don't:

• use Cuatr to harass, insult, threaten or embarrass anyone, including through nicknames, photos, group names or guest names;
• impersonate someone, or add people's names or photos without their consent;
• post invite links where they'd let strangers into a group against the owner's wishes;
• enter scores or ticks you know are false to mislead your group;
• use Cuatr against the law or the rights of others, or for betting or gambling;
• try to get around the app's rules (who may write which records), Pro or the Night Pass, or interfere with other people's iCloud data;
• copy, resell or reverse-engineer the app beyond what the law allows.

Group owners can remove people from their groups. If someone misuses Cuatr against you, leave the group, ask the owner to act, or write to us.

10. Our rights

Cuatr, its design, code, name, icon and motion are protected by copyright and other laws. We give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app while these terms apply. What you add stays yours; you allow Cuatr to store and show it to the groups you share it with, which is what the app does.

11. Availability, iCloud and changes

Cuatr depends on Apple's services (iCloud, iCloud sharing, Apple Watch, the App Store) and on your devices, network and iCloud storage. Syncing may be delayed or fail, for example offline or when iCloud is full or unavailable. We try to keep Cuatr working well, but we don't promise it'll always be available or free of errors. We may change or remove features; if a change significantly affects a paid feature, we'll tell you in advance.

12. Ending

You can stop using Cuatr and delete your data at any time (Me → Delete my data). We may end these terms with reasonable notice, or immediately for serious breaches. Sections 5, 6, 10, 13, 14 and 15 continue to apply afterwards.

13. Liability

We're liable without limit for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and where mandatory law (such as product liability law) says so. For slight negligence we're liable only for breaches of essential obligations, limited to the damage typical and foreseeable for this kind of app. Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, Cuatr is provided as it is, and we're not liable for missed matches, lost or wrong scores, levels, payments between players, or data lost in iCloud. This doesn't limit your statutory rights as a consumer.

14. Apple and the App Store EULA

These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for Cuatr or its support. Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the standard EULA) also applies to the app; if it conflicts with these terms, these terms apply where the law allows. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them.

15. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. If you're a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring claims there. We're not obliged and not willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board in the EU. Consumers in Türkiye can apply to consumer arbitration committees and consumer courts within the monetary limits set by law.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example for new features or legal changes. We'll tell you in the app about important changes before they take effect. If you don't agree, you can stop using Cuatr and delete your data.
